Hibiscus syriacus purpureus Variegatus

The variegated hibiscus is a very decorative, deciduous perennial shrub that grows to about 2-3m in height and 1-1.5m in width. What makes it special are its ashy green leaves with yellowish white edges, which adorn the garden from spring to autumn. Its flowers are burgundy and bloom from July to October. It likes a sunny spot and well-structured, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate. It tolerates pruning well. It can be planted as a standalone plant or in combination with other evergreen or deciduous plants.
